[Redeemed]
unique art

meet the artist

chief redesigner Noel GigerI live to create.
I claim as treasure what others have cast off.
I am a redesigner.
I see things not as they are, but as they will be: a cabinet door becomes art, a washer becomes jewelry, a ladder becomes a rack.
Just as people are unique, no two of my pieces are identical.

I am a multi-media artist, mom of 4 (and one due in January 2011!), wife of 14 years.  In my lifetime I have held many titles and positions, but those are my favorites!  Creatively speaking, I was an event planner for weddings and corporate events for 10 years, and worked in the marketing departments of 3 consulting firms.  My favorite part of each of these was setting the tone through unique and personalized decor or design...

Since I closed my event planning business in 2006, after the death of my third child, I have focused on the things that bring healing to me, the things that redeem this life and all it's experiences.  My art is a combination of these things; music, vintage things that stand the test of time, faith, family, beauty.

I hope that you find inspiration in my work, and I hope that the Ultimate Inspiration will speak to you even more.

Part of the challenge and thrill is my self-imposed restriction to use as close to 100% [ReDeemed] materials as possible.  I always give preference to church garage sales and charity thrift stores.  Here are a few of my favorites!

I am happy to support local organizations and charities in a variety of ways.  Most recently, I have become a founding member of the Little Elm Cultural Arts Council!  My work is available for exhibit at your function and many times I donate a piece of art or jewelry for auction or raffle.  Some of the charities I've supported in the last year are listed below.

In addition, I firmly believe in planned giving to my local church, The Crossing Church of Little Elm, TX.
